Arabic Courses in Montreal and Online
We offer dynamic Modern Standard Arabic courses, which is the form of Arabic used by cultural institutions such as the media and in schools. The 4 levels will help you develop your oral comprehension and expression so you can build confidence after learning basic grammar.
How does registration for a Arabic course work?
- Create an account on our online plateform (a Gmail account is required).
- Take the oral and written test. It’s free!
- Get the results of your test within 72 hours.
- Finalize your registration.
Placement Test
All future language school students must take a placement test, except for:
- Students who have no knowledge of the language they wish to learn.
- Current students of the YMCA International Language School or former students who studied at the YMCA International Language School in the last 6 months.

Arabic Courses
Every level of the Arabic conversation and grammar courses focuses on teaching four key skills in an interactive manner: oral and written comprehension and oral and written communication.
1 class per week | From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (ET)
- 3 levels :
- Level 1 | Monday
- Level 2 and 3 | Wednesday
- 21 hours of classes per session | 7 weeks

- 2 classes per week (ET)
- 2 levels:
- Level 3: From 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
- Level 4: From 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday
- 2 classes per week (ET)
- 2 levels:
- Level 1: From 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
- Level 2: From 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- 21 hours of classes per session | 7 weeks
