English Courses in Montreal and Online

We offer 7 levels of English courses (from beginner to advanced) allowing you to gradually acquire the basic skills: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, and listening. The program focuses on oral expression and practical conversation so you can build confidence and accuracy.

We also offer preparation courses for the Bright Language Test and official exams (TOEIC, IELTS, TOEFL).

How does registration for English courses work?

  1. Create a profile on our online platform. You will need a Gmail account to create your profile.
  2. Select the language you would like to learn.
  3. If your course level has not been determined yet or if your last course was over 6 months ago, take the placement test, unless you are registering for a beginner level course. This oral and written online placement test is required to determine which English course is best suited to your level.

Specialized courses are offered over 4 weeks with specific objectives such as oral communication, written communication, preparation for official tests and the world of business.

Conversation L.1

This course is for intermediate level 1 students. While the emphasis is on oral communication, through an exploration of various themes, students will also work hard on: broadening their vocabulary, learning practical terms for social situations, presentations, pronunciation, and listening skills.

Pronunciation

This course helps students work on and improve their pronunciation by focusing on consonants, vowels, word stress, rhythm, and intonation, all through a variety of listening and oral communication activities.

Reading and Writing

Official Test Preparation Courses

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Preparation Course

Our IELTS Prep course trains students to develop their academic English proficiency in preparation for the IELTS exam, which is an admission prerequisite for certain universities. It also prepares students to take the General IELTS test needed for immigration and employment purposes.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Preparation Course

In our TOEFL Prep course, students receive strategies and tips to develop four key skills: reading, listening, speaking, and writing. With regular, detailed feedback from highly qualified instructors, the course prepares students for academic English proficiency at the university level and helps learners who wish to enrich their advanced English vocabulary and improve their critical thinking skills.

Test for English for International Communication (TOEIC) Preparation Course

Our TOEIC Prep course helps learners develop the language proficiency required for professional and career development in an international environment. Proficiency levels demonstrate communication mastery in English within the business, commerce, and industrial fields.
