Portuguese Courses in Montreal and Online
Portuguese is not only the official language of Portugal and Brazil, but is also an official language in 8 other countries. Our dynamic courses enable students to learn Brazilian Portuguese and explore different aspects of the culture through music, film, food and drink, and much more.
We offer 7 levels for students wishing to learn Brazilian Portuguese, improve their listening and speaking skills, and gain confidence after grasping basic grammar principles.
How does registration for Portuguese courses work?
- Create a profile on our online platform. You will need a Gmail account to create your profile.
- Select the language you would like to learn.
- If your course level has not been determined yet or if your last course was over 6 months ago, take the placement test, unless you are registering for a beginner level course. This oral and written online placement test is required to determine which Portuguese course is best suited to your level.
Evening courses – In-person
Portuguese Courses
Every level of the Portuguese conversation and grammar courses focuses on teaching four key skills in an interactive manner: oral and written comprehension and oral and written communication.
1 class per week | From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (ET)
- 3 levels :
- Level 1 | Monday
- Level 2 | Wednesday
- Level 3 | Tuesday
- 21 hours of classes per session | 7 weeks

Evening courses – Online
Portuguese Courses
Every level of the Portuguese conversation and grammar courses focuses on teaching four key skills in an interactive manner: oral and written comprehension and oral and written communication.
Monday and Wednesday
- 2 classes per week (ET)
- 3 levels:
- Level 1: From 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
- Level 3: From 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Level 7: From 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday
- 2 classes per week (ET)
- 4 levels:
- Level 2: From 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
- Level 4: From 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Level 5: From 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Level 6: From 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- 21 hours of classes per session | 7 weeks

Specialized Portuguese Courses – Advanced Conversation
The courses are designed to practise guided conversation to improve oral communication skills.
